1 Release schedule
1.1 Initial public release: July 2026
Coreform’s goal is that Coreform IGA for Abaqus will support basic, core workflows for linear statics and dynamics. This release requires Abaqus 2026 Hot Fix 5 (HF5), which is available from the Dassault Systèmes download site. The download portal lists this cumulative update as SIMULIA Abaqus 2026 FP.CFA.2624, while its installer identifies it as SIMULIA Established Products 2026 HotFix 5. See Configuring Abaqus to support Coreform IGA for Abaqus for installation instructions and an explanation of these names. This release will be numbered Coreform IGA for Abaqus 2026.7.
1.2 Second public release: Fall 2026
Coreform’s goal is that Coreform IGA for Abaqus will support basic, core workflows for nonlinear statics.
2 Development builds
In addition to scheduled public releases, Coreform generally publishes qualifying development builds to the Coreform IGA downloads page. Our continuous integration and delivery infrastructure automatically builds, tests, and packages changes as they are developed, so several development builds may become available in a single day during active development.
These frequent snapshots support our agile development process by providing earlier access to fixes and capability improvements and by helping customers share timely feedback. Development builds can change rapidly and may not have the same maturity or support expectations as a public release. For production work, use a public release unless you are evaluating a specific development build in coordination with Coreform.
